Holiday program — Summit OSHC
We run vacation care every school holiday except the two weeks over Christmas — 7:00am to 6:00pm, from the same hall we use after school. The program below goes up about three weeks before each break, and you book the days that suit.
Next school holidays
Bookings close the Friday before each day. On excursion days a hat and closed shoes are not optional: we can't take a child on the bus without them.
- Mon 7 Sep: Settling-in day — games, craft and the quiet corner
- Tue 8 Sep: Science incursion: bubbles, slime and dry ice — Runs 10:00–11:30 in the hall. Old clothes.
- Wed 9 Sep: Eastwood Aquatic Centre — Bus leaves 9:30 sharp. Swimmers, towel, rashie. Swim test on arrival.
- Thu 10 Sep: Cooking day — pizza scrolls and fruit skewers
- Fri 11 Sep: Sports incursion: dodgeball and soccer skills
- Mon 14 Sep: Closed — public holiday
- Tue 15 Sep: Australian Museum, Sydney — Bus leaves 9:00, back by 3:30. Packed lunch, no shop money needed.
- Wed 16 Sep: Board-game tournament and movie afternoon
- Thu 17 Sep: Lane Cove bushland reserve — walk and creek study — Long pants, closed shoes, insect repellent on before you come.
- Fri 18 Sep: Last day — big art project and the water slide on the oval
