The shape of the day

Slow start until nine — books, drawing, the quiet corner. The main activity runs mid-morning, lunch is around midday, and the afternoon is free choice with the hall set up in zones. Children who arrive at seven and leave at six get a real day, not eleven hours of waiting.

Incursions and excursions

Roughly two of each per fortnight — a science incursion or a drumming workshop in the hall, and a bus trip to the pool, the museum or the bushland reserve. Which ones fall on which day is on the Holiday program page.

What to pack

Lunch, a water bottle, a hat and closed shoes. Morning and afternoon tea are provided. On excursion days we ask for the hat and shoes specifically — we can't take a child on the bus without them, and nobody wants that phone call.
