I've coordinated Summit OSHC since we opened. School-age kids want to be busy and heard — so we run a real breakfast and homework club, free-choice afternoons and holidays full of incursions and excursions. You'll always know who signed your child in and out.
Assistant Coordinator & Educator · Cert IV School Age Education & Care
I run our afternoon activities — sports incursions, craft and board-game tournaments — and I'm the one wheeling out the afternoon-tea trolley. My job is making sure every child has something they're excited to get stuck into.
Educator · Cert IV School Age Education & Care
I run the sport after the bell — court games, the Friday soccer round-robin, and whatever incursion we've booked for the term. I'm studying human movement, so the kids get me as a coach and I get them as very honest critics.

I look after the making corner and the board-game tournament that's been running (loudly) for three terms now. When it's raining and the hall fills up, the beanbag reading nook is mine to defend.

Mornings are mine: breakfast on the trolley, then a quiet corner for the older kids who want their homework done before school so the afternoon's actually free. I sign the little ones in and walk them across to their classroom.
