What is the Child Care Subsidy?
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a payment from the Australian Government that lowers the cost of care. It's paid straight to your centre, so the fees you see are before your subsidy — you only pay the gap. How much you get depends on your family income, how much work, study or volunteering you each do, and how many children you have in care.
These figures are an estimate only. Your actual Child Care Subsidy — and the fees you pay — are determined by Services Australia based on your family's circumstances.
